The Rev. Ted Haggard Could Not Be Himself

Rev. Ted Haggard is a very talented person.

His organizational and leadership skills are obvious to everyone.

He was dedicated to his work and gave himself to it, and to his followers.
The problem was, they, would not allow him to be who he is.

So he had to live in a costume not unlike Halloween, and pretend he was someone else.

His followers are in shock now because they themselves could not accept the words of Jesus.

In Jesus time there were two types of Eunuchs.

There was the castrated ones, (made by men)

There were the natural ones (today's Gays)

And Jesus said of them

Matthew 19:12. For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb

He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.

Ted Haggard's people could not receive it.

They could not take the words of Jesus and live with them.

And so, they have lost a very able leader, because they chose to turn away from the teachings of Jesus and instead follow the prejudices of religious politicians whom Jesus properly labeled as hypocrites.

Ted Haggard has had to wrestle with this normal part of his existence as a dark side.

Not because it is a dark side , but because an ignorant social order has deemed it to be so.

Now they weep and moan over their loss not understanding at all, that it comes down upon their heads because they refused the words of Jesus Christ.
