Where is the Accountability?

Whited Sepulchers

What they continually fail to understand is, that the Iraqis, Christian and Muslim already are familiar with Jesus...

By Harris Brio

Now after all the damage the Evangelicals have done to Muslims and Muslim nations, they suddenly realize it wasn’t a good thing. But who is at fault, not them. Why not them, because they worship a God that died for their sins. When they aren’t held accountable for their actions, why would they take any accountability.

The war in Iraq is going bad, is Christianity’s true face being unveiled? Fourteen-year-old girls are being raped, murdered and set on fire, by Christians.

Rev. Pat Robertson, for example, knew about plans to invade Iraq even before those plans were publicly announced. The follower of the Prince of Peace welcomed the invasion because he felt the Iraqi people would welcome their invaders as their saviors. After all who could oppose being saved by a supremacist. That’s what supremacists do. They save the inferior.

From 1991 until 2003, Iraq was unable to import paper and pencils for its students. Many times, the Iraqi government pleaded with the world to rectify this injustice.

Where was the “Love thy Neighbor” policy? What happened to justice and humanity? Why the Taliban like anti-education stance, especially when fighting the anti-education Taliban for being anti-education. More importantly, who is to be held accountable for being anti-education, apparently just the Muslims?

Since the West has openly declared itself not accountable, the Saviors have arrived. Campus Crusade for Christ has landed bringing pencils and paper to Iraq. Since autumn of 2002, various U.S. groups had placed orders for thousands of Bibles, in the anticipation of an invasion. Robertson bragged about how many thousands he had on hand to use when the time came.

Campus Crusade for Christ is a very well known US Evangelical organization out of Florida. On its website, you can see dozens of pictures of Bible give away in Iraq. Also, there is the mandatory “Send us your money” message.

Under their “Bibles for the Middle East,” section one will immediately take notice of what every Iraqi need and must have. “2004 was declared the Year of the Bible,” throughout the Arab world and interest is high. Everyone knows, after some good bombing run, thousands of people become interested in receiving a copy of the Bible.

Most of its affiliated groups are ultraconservative and supportive of the sanctions against Iraq.

Christian evangelists who travel to Iraq to save the dark-skinned savages are merely taking orders from their President, who happens to be on the telephone with Jesus, all the time.

Sadly these brain dead heaps of ignoramuses think Iraqis will be enlightened by the arrival of an angel skinned saviors.

What they continually fail to understand is, that the Iraqis, Christian and Muslim already are familiar with Jesus. Perhaps not the bomb and missile conveying Jesus of the Evangelicals but a far more peaceful and loving Jesus.

Supremacy dictates to the self-proclaimed superior, that the light-skinned invaders from Florida, are save. Logic states invaders are invaders - never saviors.

Christian evangelical organizations from the United States, flooding Bibles into Iraq when, prior to March 2003, few of them even knew the location of the country, and fewer still could point out Iraq on a map. In fact, many cheered on the March 2003 invasion.

In 2002 the Christian Coalition gathered on the Mall in Washington to express their faith and to lobby the administration. More importantly, to agree to remain angry.

The rally was organized by the Christian Coalition, which wants to make sure that the Bush Administration sees the struggle in the Middle East between Jews and Muslims their way, the Christian way.

What is the Christian way? Well, the Evangelicals see Israel as the landing strip for Christ.

The return of the Jews to their ancient homeland is seen by Evangelicals as a precondition for the Second Coming of Christ. Where the blood will rise as high as a horse’s bridle at Armageddon, before Christ triumphs, to begin his 1,000-year rule.

And whose blood is being so loving squandered. The Jews, two-thirds of them will have been wiped out by now. The Muslims, well they will mostly die as well. Those non-Christians surviving will be given redemption by accepting Jesus the Savior.

The mainstream press won’t mention it, but the alternative press should. The goal of Evangelicalism is the return of Jesus. And from understanding that core element we can conclude with little opposing argument that the common denominator across all Evangelical ideology is, that everyone else must die.

Evangelical Christianity is not so righteous that it stands as a beacon of goodness and all that is wholesome. It would die out in one generation, if fear its tool for recruitment, became obsolete. Fear grows when understanding diminishes. Scared and petrified persons find it easier to hate. Hate is a by-product of ignorance, giving birth to supremacy.

All that can be preached because supremacy also allows self-loving advertisements which Evangelicals generally like to showcase for not only for themselves but others.

Jesus is the “Prince of Peace,” and “Turn the other cheek,” the very popular “Love thy neighbor.” Going by that one automatically sees, those qualities missing. These qualities are missimg because they are no longer being preached, instead Evangelicalism finds itself standing on one pillar, the “Son died for sins.” What I do see is a lack of any accountability because someone else died for their sins.

Which grants them the feeling of supremacy, it has to, when you are not accountable you feel superior.

Another feeling of being special can be cultivated by victim-hood. A victim is taken care of, listened to, empathizes with and never held accountable. How do Christians feel victimized? Just listen to their representatives.

Intensifying charges by some Evangelical groups of a “war on Christmas.” Claims of a well-orchestrated war on Christmas have been boosted by talk-show hosts, especially on Fox News, he said. Some prominent Christian leaders have suggested a Muslim and Jewish role in Christmas bashing, as well.

Recently televangelist Pat Robertson, interviewing the author of a book on the subject, told viewers that “the [Anti-Defamation League] has put out a memo that they’re going after Christians.”

Are Christians discovering accountability? Some can see it emerging, but through a fault of others.

Hal Lindsey sees Arafat cancelling Christmas to punish Jews. How did Lindsey conclude that, according to him, “Both Christians and Jews worship the God of the Bible? Islam does not.” Problem, Jews do not worship Jesus as God and neither do Muslims. But that really is mere fact, we are still on the subject of accountability, facts do not count.

What does count is getting Christians really angry and feeling sorry for themselves. And Hal is the man to do it, because no one else can be as sorry for himself as ole Hal. Born in Houston, Texas, Lindsey dropped out of the University of Houston to serve in the Korean War, then worked as a Mississippi River tugboat captain. His personal web site describes that when “his first marriage broke up, he contemplated suicide.”

So when one feels they have fallen victim to life, listen to Pastor John Hagee and hate someone. That is the Evangelical New World Order we are seeing today . . .
