HiddenMysteries: Christian Zionist Jerry Falwell Dies, A Pall of Ignorance Has Been Lifted

The Headline read "Christian Zionist Leader Jerry Falwell Dies", At first I didn't believe it. I thought it was a fake article like the ones that said Ann Coulter had died. I did a search on the net and found it was true. Just two nights before I had actually watched him on TV for about two minutes which is about all I could stand.

I remember more than fifteen years ago my friends and I joked about the right wing extremist preacher, we called him Jerry False-tale because most everything that came out of his mouth was false and filled with religious extremism, some of it very dangerous and hurtful.

I remember Falwell hated homosexuals and seemed to blame them for Americas moral decline. He staunchly supported Bush and the Iraq war, weapons of mass deception or not, and he supported Israel. He was blind to the mass murder of over a million Iraqis. It never seemed to matter to him how high the pile of bodies grew. Falwell directed his 'Moral Majority' organization to unleash a torrent of attacks against the 'Separation of Church and State' principal upon which America was founded. Great Men like Jefferson, Adams, and Washington knew that only by removing religion from government could the people hope to create a just and fair system not subject to the repressive whims of religious fanatics like Falwell.

Falwell preached Hell damnation and war. He preached punishment. He was pious and arrogant and he drove far more souls away from the light than he ever brought to the light. He never inspired anything in me but contempt. The world needs great men, inspirational men like Martin Luther King. When he spoke it was as if somebody had turned on a light and suddenly people could see. Gandhi was also such a man and so was Kennedy. And of course we can't forget Jesus. But Jerry Falwell was not such a man.

Over the next few days we are going to hear a lot of manufactured rot about how great Falwell was and what a terrible loss his death is to us all. Don't believe one word of it. Falwell is no longer here to provide constant media propaganda support for a murderous occupier state, he is no longer here to pour gasoline on the flames of the Iraq war. Falwell's death is a terrible loss indeed for the Zionists, war profiteers, and the U.S. Army recruiters who gladly ground into hamburger the gullible children of the religious right.

A pall of ignorance has been lifted. Every day for years Falwell tortured the American people with a mixture of bible quotes, pro war, pro Bush, and pro Israel propaganda. Hallelujah it's over! Now we can only hope for a miracle, that somebody truly 'Christ-like' will emerge in the American media sewer, a religious leader who does not support extremism and the love for war and power, someone who does not blindly support the murderous ways of the American corporate state and their Zionist satellite state Israel.
