In the news article, “Breast Cancer Not Regulated to Women; Some Men Battle It too - One Man Surprised He Passed Breast Cancer Gene to Daughters” ABC news recently covered a story about retired San Antonio Judge, James Barlow, who is battling breast cancer. Sadly, Mr. Barlow reportedly also passed down the gene for the disease to his two daughters.

As the grandfather lamented, "It was hard to go through knowing that perhaps I gave them something they didn't need to have." Certainly no truer words were ever spoken. Indeed, nobody has the “need to have” breast cancer. And this is precisely why one would think that a government intent on protecting the “Life, Liberty, and pursuit of Happiness” of its citizens would do everything in its power to halt what is typically considered a “pink” epidemic. One would think…

At first glance, this is just another human interest story with an uncommon angle, whereby a father’s genes - not a mother’s – are responsible for passing down an illness which typically strikes females. Thus, in a deceptively simple tale of one family’s woes, the “proper” conclusion is neatly packaged for us: America, accept that breast cancer is an “all in the family” affair … one to which we should become accustomed.

No doubt some readers appreciate when the subject matter of a “news” story is so thoughtfully pre-chewed, digested, and then spat out for their consumption. How many of us, after all, have the luxury of time to peruse articles and then ponder the implications for our health? Thus, the sifting and weighing of facts becomes unnecessary as perception is molded and shaped for us by corporations providing this “service” for the American public, and for their other client, a most powerful Master…

Stories like these that force conclusions on us are simply de rigueur for the controlled media these days. Their complicity in the cover-up of sins committed by those at the helm of the sinking Good Ship America runs deep.

But news reporting was not always this way. In fact, once upon a time in America - a long, long time ago – it is whispered that newspapers were once owned by individuals who made their livelihood reporting news – real news – for the purpose of informing their community about the events of the day.

It used to be a journalist’s “job” to convey facts and details necessary for a reader to formulate her own opinions on a matter. Print journalists would report what they’d observed and augment the story with research, giving helpful background details. Readers were then expected to take in all the facts and draw their own conclusions.

In contrast to yesteryear’s “Just the facts, Ma’am” approach to news reporting, what marginally squeaks by as “news” these days is meticulously produced with the express goal of spoon-feeding our conclusions to us, thereby rendering critical thought altogether unnecessary.

The mainstream media, being very much the power holders’ clandestine adoring Mistress, compliantly eases the burden on us to have to think for ourselves. And with all that’s happening outside the awareness of most Americans, The Mistress of American Propaganda, like a lover devotedly protecting her beloved, is exceedingly solicitous in connecting the dots on our behalf. It would not bode well for her Master, after all, if Americans were to actually “get a clue.”

Try to consider, if you will, what might happen if the majority of Americans actually began to question – and investigate for themselves - why entire families are coming down with cancer. That might be, shall we say, très dangereux for a greedy, ravenous-for-power, imperialist Master so narrowly focused on its occupational goals! In an unprecedented quest for “resource” acquisition in far-off lands with the use of military “muscle” dropped from A-10 aircraft and fired out of armored tanks, the US Military-Industrial-Congressional complex has been throwing [blasting, actually] the precautionary principle to the particulate-laden winds for many decades.

In order to accomplish such a massive onslaught by a government upon its earth, water, air, and every form of life that lives and breathes therein, a supremely skilled, organized, and diligent propaganda team is required to act the part of devoted Mistress to obscure her Master’s destructive, “hot”, and “dirty” indiscretions. Rather than black leather, whips, and chains, however, this submissive Mistress knows quite well that her Master’s “kinks” are, after all, quite deadly – and thus, obediently indulges her Master’s every bellicose fantasy.

The mainstream media Mistresses - those conniving guarders of the fascists’ crimes with their “throw caution [and radioactive munitions] to the wind” attitude - are indoctrinated, highly-skilled wordsmiths with a prescribed agenda to control public perception and opinion. The mission, after all, is not to report the truth, but rather, to alleviate the need for readers to sift through and weigh all sorts of bothersome details … you know, little bitty trivial things, like facts and science.

In a word, we can not rely on Uncle Sam as the Master - or the mainstream media as his complicit Mistress - to tell us the critical truth about what is going so very wrong with our health inside the United States.

Job Number One for the Empire’s gatekeepers of information, therefore, is to stop average Americans from putting two and two together. In order to keep up the entire game of international resource theft and the corporate defense contracts “biz” booming indefinitely, it is absolutely necessary to ensure that the American public never makes the connection between reckless, wanton, environmental degradation and the undeniable steady decline in public health.

In addition to print journalists, the “team players” on the Empire’s information management roster include anchor persons with brighter-than-snow-white smiles and hairdos coiffed perfectly in place. These play-actors smile obediently for the camera and report on pre-approved themes and conclusions, thereby conveniently eliminating the need for people to have to do any critical thinking whatsoever as to precisely why America’s health is down the toilet.

What appears in print media and on TV is, therefore, precious little more than gratuitous lies, omissions of critical facts, and woefully compromised science. Meticulously worded masterpieces of deception also originate from news agencies such as Associated Press that, undoubtedly, have got the Empire’s back.

Fake “news” stories are crafted daily around hidden agendas that keep the US Fear Factory alive and well in order to wage war – always more war. Thus, the major press agencies assist in the propagation of fabrications and distractions necessary to conceal certain secrets, crimes, and transgressions of those in federal government doing their “dirty” work from sea to not-so-shining sea.

We are kept so busy lately watching the “propaganda opportunity” [their term, not mine] of a miraculously-intercepted Bin Laden video that US intelligence has the audacity to admit they “believe an American … may have written at least part of the speech” that they’re promoting through a Osama look-alike with a ridiculous beard and eyebrow dye-job (or else it’s the real guy, resurrected from the crypt, muttering something about converting to Islam). Such lame efforts to keep us cowering in fear are, no doubt, part of the plan to make us less likely to notice ten million people, living within the greater San Francisco Bay area, coughing up a lung from inhaling radioactive Uranium aerosols – courtesy of open air explosions at the nearby Lawrence Livermore [Nuclear Weapons] Laboratory for the past 45-plus years.

When not being pelted by fake, staged videos of “terror” threats, we are continuously bombarded with bounteous media coverage of emaciated, anorexic-yet-still-astonishingly-buxom ladies who escape rehab facilities, wrap Mercedes Benzes around trees, and hold illegal-substance-fueled tirades against paparazzi while making assaults with umbrellas.

Will one party-hearty youngster beat her coke addiction and get her healthy glow back? Can another starving prego starlet be given four calcium servings while doing time? Will still another striking-yet-sunken-cheeked, pile o’ bones give up her diet pill addiction, adopt another child from a third-world nation, and be force-fed a cheeseburger from the concerned fingers of her outrageously handsome hunk of a honey? What about the bald Oops-she-done-it-again gal, this time leaving les enfants to French kiss a bikini-clad gal pal or baby sit a college boy in a deserted Beverly Hills swimming pool in the middle of the night?

Hot, spicy, glamorous, and certainly never boring, the media’s coverage of the titillating “Bad Girls of Summer” accomplish their goal by helping keep America’s eyes anywhere but on the ball!

Speaking of celebrity splashes, while we were hanging on every nuance of Anna, Larry, and Howard’s DNA baby custody battles, the media Mistresses seized this golden “summer of opportunity” to make sure that we did not happen to notice the US Army’s admission of their use of Depleted Uranium on military bases in the Hawaiian Islands … Hawaii, of course, only being the closest thing America’s got to Paradise on earth!

Uncle Sam’s devoted servant, the media Mistress - and her kissing cousin and partner in crime, the “Entertainment” industry - decided to focus their cameras on celebrity crotch shots instead, completely glossing over the real news that actually matters … like the fact that parts of Hawaii are radioactively contaminated … For Fricking Forever!

You’ve got to hand it to them. It’s not easy, after all, to wreck Paradise and get away with it for over forty years. It’s not easy, that is, unless you have a willing accomplice … Thus, the American Master’s dastardly activities necessitate having him take – or rather buy – himself a Mistress, to keep as a distracting, manipulative, alluring, mind-numbing “cover”. She must be willing to do whatever she is told to do and say whatever she is directed to say in order to keep Americans in an infantile state of bemusement … forever distracted, salivating, and off-course, looking anywhere but directly into the heart of the damning truth.

Consequently, the handsomely rewarded, cared-for and tended-to Mistress rewards her Master by slaughtering journalistic integrity daily … leaving it to die all over the bloody editorial cutting room floor by dutiful lackeys tasked by bought-out industry owners to save the fat hides and line the even fatter pockets of the maniacal dictatorial rulers in Washington - and their corporate cronies.

To fully understand and better appreciate why the media indulges its Master in this massive whitewashing over truth, do a Google search as follows: media + CIA + propaganda. You will get over 2 million “hits” with this combination. Apparently some people truly do understand how the US media has a rather influential “helper” on the job! No doubt, this provides an important clue as to why information in print and television “journalism” is worthy of less than zero confidence when it comes to matters of America’s health and well-being.

And so what is it, exactly, the information “minders” so very desperately hope we do not discover on our own? In a word, America is simply not being told the truth about what is making us sick. Even though we’re eating better, exercising more, and smoking less, the American Cancer Society’s figures consistently show, year after year, that cancer in the US – despite all of our positive lifestyle changes - is still on the rise. 1

Not only are the incidences of cancer on the upswing, but they’ve reached seriously high levels of epidemic proportions. According to a 2006 report put out by the American Cancer Society, 1 out of 2 men and 1 out of 3 women will develop cancer sometime within their lifetime. These numbers, mind you, do not even include skin cancers and most in situ cancers. 2

In other words, if you are a man and you look around and see another man standing near you, statistically speaking, at least one of you will develop some type of cancer in your lifetime. The risk of men coming down with cancer is better than fifty-fifty! And Ladies, if you look around and see two women who are standing nearby, at least one out of the three of you will develop cancer. Even though the cancer incidence rate is lower for females than it is for males, this still amounts to a better than thirty-three (33) percent cancer incidence rate for women. 2

No doubt, these figures better help to explain why a story about a family hit with a triple whammy of breast cancer helps acclimate us to the idea that, if we get sick, there’s no reason whatsoever to ponder how or why our illness came about. Blaming your doggone ancestors and their defective genes is therefore plain and simple. And doing so may even help eliminate your curiosity to consider other explanations for your cancers.

We can, therefore, expect to be periodically reminded by the devoted Mistresses of Empire that breast cancer is all in the genes. Watch as this theme is routinely reiterated in the press and on TV. If we do not realize that our illness is due to “heredity”, wouldn’t we then start to wonder why our families are becoming so sick? Or maybe it would then occur to us why the cases of cancers and other illnesses like diabetes are sky high in our state. And if we do not repeatedly hear about cancer being “in the genes”, won’t we start to question why so many people in our communities are coming down with the same diseases?

When there is nothing else upon which to blame cancers, diabetes and other diseases, a serious concern arises that would have people asking questions – way too many questions, one surmises, to keep the cover-up continuing indefinitely. One can, therefore, understand why the Media is needed to be a supremely cozy Mistress to a Master who’s been going out of its way to introduce metallic, chemically toxic radionuclides into America’s air and water supply for decades.

It is, therefore, vitally important that we be overwhelmed with inconsequential things to read that will not allow one opportunity to question these national health epidemics. So a great deal of the truth is simply ignored. Sometimes, however, in order to make what we read seem more believable, it’s deemed necessary to intersperse tiny morsels of truth throughout the lies and fluff. It’s done, however, in such a way as to slip a kernel of truth in between other factors so as to minimize any possible “damage” that such revelations might cause.

This particular story mentions only in passing that "Risk factors include radiation exposure, a family history of breast cancer and having high estrogen levels." In the preceding paragraph, however, the actual conclusion was pre-decided for us, by softening the upcoming "radiation exposure" by first implanting in our minds the daughter's words: "I wasn't as surprised we inherited the gene from him, as I was [that he] got breast cancer," said Melissa Barlow-Fischer.

Although the twist to this story was that it was the father’s genes that were the culprit (and not the mother’s, as is typical), the basic premise is part of psychological conditioning. If we are made to believe that cancer is predominantly inherited, we can then mentally prepare ourselves throughout our lives, as in “My Mom (or Dad or Grandma) was sick with cancer, so I, too, will one day be struck with the disease.” As such, we become accustomed to thinking about cancer as being “all in the genes,” causing us to not to bother contemplating other proven “risk factors”, such as – you’ve got it - the association between cancer and radiation exposure.

Nor does the term "radiation exposure" receive any additional consideration later on in the piece. How could this be? Perhaps this is not expounded upon as a risk factor because the only man-made radiation that takes place in the United States is done by and/or under the supervision of the federal government.

When it dawns on people that Uncle Sam (who, after all, is supposed to have our best interests at heart) has been nuking his own, right here at home, then they see the “big picture” and realize why “radiation exposure” would certainly be something the controlled media would want to keep tightly under wraps in the San Antonio area, where our family in the breast cancer story lives.

San Antonio, in fact, is host to the now-closed Kelly Air Force Base and the current Lackland Air Force Base where “Depleted” Uranium [a nuclear by-product fired out of US military weapons] was used at both locations for many years. In fact, in 1963, at the Medina Base, (now the Lackland Air Force Base) an explosion occurred involving 50,000 kg. (50 metric tons) of high explosives, including radioactive “Depleted” Uranium (DU). 3

Additionally, at Kelly Air Force Base, DU was used routinely as a counterweight in aircraft, in the manufacture of anti-tank ammunition, and as a shielding material. At the location now called the Lackland Air Force Base, five radioactive waste sites have been identified and many items on the base that emit radiation - from electron tubes to Depleted Uranium used as ballast on aircraft are present. 4, 5

Not surprisingly, an analysis of the health of residents living in the San Antonio area from 1990 to 1997 showed statistically significant, elevated rates in both incidences and mortality rates of various cancers. 6 Unfortunately, however, these air force bases are only two such radioactively contaminated locations out of a total of at least 153 such contaminated sites in Texas [see Resources below for link to radioactive locations by state].

The thing most Americans probably do not know about these radioactively contaminated military and weapons facilities all over the country is that the material used in “testing”, explosions, and incineration of what is deceptively called “Depleted” Uranium (called this since some of the Uranium-235 has been removed from natural Uranium in order to use the U-235 in bombs) stays around forever – or, if not forever, then at least pretty darn close.

In fact, the half-life of “Depleted” Uranium is a whopping 4.5 Billion years. On top of that, the quantity of a radioactive element diminishes by a factor of one thousand (1,000) during the span of ten (10) half-lives. Essentially, 4.5 Billion years times 10 - or 45 Billion years - is the amount of time it will take for almost all of the Uranium-238 in the “Depleted Uranium” to complete its decay chain into non-radioactive Lead-206.

In other words, the ceramic Uranium oxides caused by open-air firing, blasting, and burning of DU at military and nuclear weapons “laboratory” facilities today will continue to pollute America’s air, water, and soil - required components necessary to sustain the life of our descendents - for many Billions (with a “B”) of years.

So what does this Depleted Uranium do to human health? According to epidemiologist Sister Rosalie Bertell, Ph.D., “This ceramic aerosol is much lighter than uranium dust. It can travel in air … or be stirred up in dust and resuspended in air with wind or human movement. It is very small and can be breathed in by anyone: a baby, pregnant woman, the elderly, the sick. This radioactive ceramic can stay deep in the lungs for years, irradiating the tissue with powerful alpha particles within about a 30 micron sphere, causing emphysema and/or fibrosis.”

Dr. Bertell continues, “The ceramic can also be swallowed and do damage to the gastro-intestinal tract. In time, it penetrates the lung tissue and enters into the blood stream. It can be stored in liver, kidney, bone or other tissues, again for years, irradiating all of the delicate tissues located near its storage place. It can effect [sic] the blood, which is the basis of our immune system, and do damage to the renal system as it is eventually excreted in the urine. It can also initiate cancer or promote cancers which have been initiated by other carcinogens.” 7

Talk about leaving a Toxic Nuclear Dump as a legacy for generations of our descendents forevermore! Consider that 4.5 Billion years is the about the age of the earth. So for as long a period of time that it took for the earth to be created, one-half of the “Depleted” Uranium used in our US backyards today will still be around, decaying into even more dangerous radioactive elements over time.

Even worse is the knowledge that since “Depleted” Uranium has been used inside the US - all over America - for the past six decades … it is present anywhere and everywhere the contaminated wind blows and water flows until - for all intents and purposes - eternity.

Despite this huge cover-up, every now and then one agency or another under the Master’s domain apparently doesn’t get some DoD memo or another and “slips”… letting the cat out of the proverbial bag. This is evident as the Federal Aviation Administration of the Department of Transportation explains in its December 20, 1984 advisory circular, “The main hazard associated with depleted uranium is the harmful effect the material could have if it enters the body. If particles are inhaled or digested, the[y] can be chemically toxic and cause significant and long lasting irradiation of internal tissue.” 8

As far as “long lasting irradiation of internal tissue” is concerned, according to Merriam Webster’s definition, irradiation means: “exposure to radiation (as X rays or alpha particles).” Why, even Uncle Sam, by his very own admission, is irradiating his own! Oh what a relief it is to know our hard earned tax dollars are so lovingly spent to cook and mutate our cells! Perhaps in current Orwellian inside-the-Capital-Beltway-lingo, “defending” our nation’s citizens these days has also come to mean irradiating – or nuking - them, too?

Going back to the notion of cancer being “all in the genes”, it might have been helpful if ABC News, in its breast cancer family story, had let us know the degree to which having a genetic disposition to cancer is a factor in our development of the disease. According to Dr. Gordon Mills, chairman of the Department of Molecular Oncology and Medical Director ad interim of the Human Clinical Cancer Genetics Program, “Genetic predisposition to cancer plays a role in the development of five to 10 percent of all cancers. For most individuals, there is not a test that would indicate a predisposition. Most cancers occur by chance and not because of an inherited predisposition.” 9

If being predisposed to cancer accounts for only 5 to 10 percent of all cancers, then what accounts for the other 90 to 95 percent of cancer diagnoses due to “chance”? With such a large percentage of people being diagnosed with cancers that have nothing whatsoever to do with genetics, instead of worrying about heredity, shouldn’t we be using our precious time and energy to figure out if, like the Barlow family, we’re living in a place that may one day make us critically ill?

In fact, as Americans continue to learn more about man-made radiation as a serious risk factor for cancer, diabetes and other diseases, one can easily predict how differently our grand kids’ generation will go about searching for a new home. Instead of looking for an area with a low crime rate, good schools, and a booming job market, tomorrow’s home buyers will instead select whatever location gives them the lowest readings on their hand-held radiation meters.

The American Cancer society estimates that, excluding skin cancers, by the end of this year, nearly 1.5 Million Americans will be diagnosed with cancer. 10 This number does not include the millions already battling cancers diagnosed prior to 2007. Furthermore, the number of new cases is steadily increasing each year, even though what is sickening and killing us in great numbers typically has precious little to do with Grandma’s DNA … which, we have learned, only accounts for 5 to 10 percent of the reason why people get cancer.

Naturally, this business of the tiny percentage of cancers due to heredity is one of those incriminating secrets that the Media Mistress keeps quietly to herself! As Teresa Stover has stated, “The news media has … evolved into an entity that tends to function as a public relations agency for wealthy and powerful multinational corporations, members of Congress, the current Presidential Administration including the administrations that preceded it. The news media is being utilized as a political tool of suppression and propaganda by those in power, and propaganda is psychological in nature. Full of half-truths and utter misinformation, it’s an arrogant and very commercial strategy.”

Stover also tell us, “Manipulators rarely advise you to seek new and diverse information or to ‘learn and research for yourself’, it tends to be safer for exploitative and irresponsible leaders to keep their citizens in the dark; in their view less independent thought is better. Independent thought leads to an inquiring mind, a mindset that eventually leads to the questioning of authority figures, and that is the one thing that inadequate leaders do not want.” 11

Inadequate leaders may not want Americans to question authority, but worse than being merely “inadequate leaders”, our psychopathic perpetual war-makers in power can simply not run the risk of its citizenry becoming too well informed. Without any doubt, therefore, what Americans are being told by our mainstream media Mistresses about cancer, diabetes, and other health epidemics is most certainly not all the news that’s fit to print. It is, therefore, incumbent on us to do our own research and employ critical thinking skills in order to formulate our own conclusions.

Awakened, aware Americans must stand up to this Master, a veritable sociopath and sub-human beast fully determined to decimate our nation’s health, lands, and natural resources forever. We must demand an end to Congressional funding for the use of Uranium and other radioactive poisons used in the open air both inside the United States and out. Although smaller in scale, atmospheric explosions and below ground, sub-critical ones beginning with the Manhattan Project in the early 1940s still continue to this very day. These so-called “tests” that use radioactive materials affect all Americans – even those yet to be born - and must be brought to a halt immediately!

Our failure to stop this carcinogenic, toxic and radioactive contamination of America will yield not only increasingly devastating ramifications upon the health of our current population - but upon the health of our kids and all future descendents of Americans yet to be born … for tens of Billions of years.

In the words of Lucinda Marshall, founder of the Feminist Peace Network, “There is no justification for our military killing us to protect us.” 12
