Petition for a Free and Independent Texas!

Texas Topics

Whereas the Texas Constitution of 1876 was approved by the Congress of the United States, acknowledging the rights retained by the People of Texas:

Article One Section Two of the Texas Constitution states:

All political power is inherent in the people, and all free governments are founded on their authority, and instituted for their benefit. The faith of the people of Texas stands pledged to the preservation of a republican form of government, and, subject to this limitation only, they have at all times the inalienable right to alter, reform or abolish their government in such manner as they may think expedient.

Article One Section Three of the Texas Constitution states:

All free men, when they form a social compact, have equal rights, and no man, or set of men, is entitled to exclusive separate public emoluments, or privileges, but in consideration of public services.

The decision by the US Judiciary in Texas v. White, was ruled on by a justice that by law, ethics and reason should have recused himself, since he had gone to war against Texas in a direct manner, and whereas, Texas v. White was NOT about the sovereignty of the Republic of Texas, but about bond payments, and the Republic of Texas was not given opportunity to submit evidence and arguments in its defense before an impartial jury, we declare such judicial activism and tyranny abhorrent, null and void,

The United States has for over 160 years failed to protect Texas borders with our international neighbors, allowing unlawful immigration into Texas, at great expense to the Texan people and their governments. And whereas, the latest U.S. Federal attempt to appease Texans with a border fence, that our governor using simple common sense, stated, that one only need a ladder to breach, and said fence was NOT installed on the international border, but on private and public property not under U.S. jurisdiction.

The U.S. Federal government has continually forced unconscionable treaties on Texas and her people, that include encroachments upon private lands, and against the will of the Texas people, namely NAFTA and the NAFTA superhighway,

The U.S. Federal government continues to enforce unfunded mandates on our Texas governments and her people, against the will of the Texan people,

The U.S. Federal government has failed to provide lawful money as dictated by its own constitution, and forcing Texas government officials to violate the constitution of Texas they swear an oath to, by accepting something other than gold and silver in payment of debt. And whereas, the debt practices of the United States are not only unconscionable to the people of Texas, they are untenable and unsafe for Texans to submit to unconstitutional debt-created-money, forced on us by the Congress and private bankers, and further the Federal Government has allowed government created entities to run rampant and put the faith and credit of the people of the United States and Texas at great risk,

The U.S. Federal government enforces its own agendas against the will of the People of Texas by assuming powers not specifically granted to it by its own constitution, and thereby reducing the powers of the People and the states, to whom such powers wre constitutionally reserved for and by,

All free men, when they form a social compact, have equal rights, and no man, or set of men, is entitled to exclusive separate public emoluments, or privileges, the Texas people declare that the ‘set of men’ known as the Congress of the United States and its militaries have NO privilege (right) to force Texans to continue in an unconscionable social compact, that is breached, abridged, and fails the spirit of its original intentions,

All political power is inherent in the people, and all free governments are founded on their authority, and instituted for their benefit… they have at all times the inalienable right to alter, reform or abolish their government in such manner as they may think expedient, we the People of Texas declare that this right extends not only to cities, school districts, counties, and the State of Texas but to Federal Government of the United States of America.

When the People of Texas declare Independence by secession or any other lawful means, it is a constitutionally protected act, not subject to review by the United States or its judiciary, military, police forces, legislative or executive branches,

We, the undersigned, demand that the Governor and Legislature of Texas conduct a referendum on whether Texas should again become a sovereign and independent nation.

Let Texas Decide!
