Idealistic young Americans are cannon fodder for the Illuminati-run peace corps.

by David Richards

JFK founded the Peace Corps program 50-years-ago proclaiming it a charitable organization designed to encourage mutual understanding between Americans and other countries.

(Peace Corps is to Democrats what Halliburton is to Republicans... Vehicles to justify and legalize RAPE, KIDNAPPING, SLAVERY, and MURDER)

In reality, the Peace Corps is a military organization serving the Illuminati. It sends Westerners into third-world countries to act as NWO "change agents," Westernizing locals. Another function is to give murderous US foreign policy a charitable face.

(Volunteer Karestan Koenen was raped in Niger in 1991)

Since its beginning, 200,000 US volunteers have served the organization in 139 nations. There are now 8,650 Americans working in 77 countries in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe and elsewhere.

The Peace Corps has the same attitude to recruits as the military do. They are disposable. As Henry Kissinger said, "Military men are dumb, stupid animals to be used as pawns for foreign policy."

Peace Corps volunteers receive terrible treatment. A report by The Dayton Daily News found that Peace Corps throw naive young Americans straight into the bear pit, without concern for their safety.

"Though many volunteers have little or no experience traveling outside the United States, minimum language skills and virtually no background in their assigned jobs, they are sent to live alone in remote areas of some of the world's most dangerous countries and left unsupervised for months at a time."

The fallout is inevitable. There have been more than 2,900 assaults against Peace Corps volunteers since 1990.

Many of these attacks are rapes and murders of young women. The New York Times reported that from 2000 to 2009, "an average of 22 women each year reported being the victims of rape or attempted rape... During that time, more than 1,000 Peace Corps volunteers reported sexual assaults, including 221 rapes or attempted rapes."

In reality, this number is a lot higher. A 2010 survey of Peace Corps volunteers revealed that nearly 40 percent of those raped and 50 percent of those sexually assaulted did not report their attacks.

The brutal attacks scar the girls for life.

One victim is Jess Smochek, left, a 29-year -old from Pennsylvania stationed in Bangladesh. From the beginning of her stay was groped and threatened by local men. She repeatedly begged to be relocated. But the Peace Corps ignored her.

The result? She was gang raped by a group of Bangladeshi men, "They all took turns raping me. They raped me with their bodies. They raped me with foreign objects."

"They slammed me against the wall and just started threatening me, they're calling me a filthy American whore," she said. "'We told you to stop going to the police. And now we have to kill you,'" she said.

"I was in so much pain that I just told them, 'Just kill me. Please. Just do it.'" She was left unconscious in a back alley.

After their horrific attacks, the girls receive little support. The Peace Corps try to silence them fearful they will hurt recruitment numbers.

Dr. Karensten Kohen who was raped while on service in Niger has said, "the treatment by the Peace Corps was worse than the rape."

After reporting the attack to her Peace Corps supervisor and declaring her intention to prosecute her attacker, he responded, 'It's your word against his. He said you wanted to have sex and we believe him.'

Jessica Gregg is another victim, she was drugged and raped while doing service in Mozambique in 2007. When she reported her assault a Peace Corps medical officer 'made me write in my testimony that I was intoxicated' and suggested that 'I willingly had sex with this guy.'"

Different girls have said that after reporting assault, PC officers have accused the girls of fabricating the event, taken their mobile phone to stop them warning others and refused to give them any self-defense equipment such as pepper spray.

When the girls are not being attacked by local thugs they must worry about their Peace Corps bosses who, rather than being a source of comfort in a dangerous alien land, are predators in the mist. Carol Marie Clark, a former volunteer in Nepal was raped by her boss. "Soon after I began working, my supervisor, the Nepalese Peace Corps program director, began telling the female volunteers that we would have to have sex with him in order to receive our living supplement checks. Volunteers told our country director about this, but he did nothing."

"I have had an apology from the Peace Corps but I haven't seen them take action."

(Peace Corps Volunteer Kate Puzey, 24, was murdered in March 2009 in Benin.)

In March 2009, 24-year-old Atlanta native Kate Puzey was murdered in Benin. Her throat was slit while she slept. She was killed because she reported a fellow teacher who had been sexually exploiting his female students.

After she made this report, her life was in danger, yet the Peace Corps did not remove her. It appears the molester's brother was employed at the Peace Corps HQ in Benin and leaked the info to his brother who took his revenge.

The murder was the subject of a widely-seen ABC 20/20 report in which the Peace Corps representative discredited herself and the organization with her mealy mouthed excuses.

Obama has announced his intention to double the size of the Peace Corps, putting further young Americans at grave risk.

Applications have increased 40% since Obama's announcement and presumably as the economy declines, numbers will continue to rise.

Our culture industry is putting these girls at heightened risk by portraying Western women as willing sluts. Third-world men are gorging on Western films and getting the idea your daughter is a bitch in heat. This increases the chance of rapes and attacks.

The Peace Corps at 50:
What’s a Little Rape, Murder, and Brutalization of Women Between Friends?

by Lori Ziganto

(Deborah Gardner, Peace Corps Volunteer, Murdered in Tonga)

That great lefty favorite, the Peace Corps, just had a 50th birthday! You can tell, because it’s demanding presents. The Lefties who totally love conscience-salving stints in third world countries rejoiced and then swiftly returned to their soy lattes and organic arugula. Senator Harry Reid issued a breathless, sycophantic statement in which he, being Harry Reid, couldn’t resist making things up, pouting and petulantly trying to cling to funding.

I’m deeply discouraged that Republicans have proposed slashing significant funding for a program that trains workers for a 21st century global economy, builds good will around the world and promotes public service. Instead of reducing the effectiveness of a highly cost-effective program, we should cut government spending in a smart, responsible way that targets waste and excess while keeping our economy growing.

Of course, he had nothing to say in response to charges that perhaps the Peace Corps isn’t so peaceful. At least not for the women who were raped – and then blamed for being raped - during their stints in the corps. No ado was made about the House hearing on Wednesday investigating the same, or the legislation proposed by Congressman Poe (R-TX) that would require some Peace Corps oversight. In fact, the New York Times reported that Democrats wished to, as always, sweep such things under the rug in fear that their precious funding might be lost:

[W]hether such a bill would pass Congress is unclear. Representative Niki Tsongas, Democrat of Massachusetts, is co-sponsoring Mr. Poe’s bill, but other Democrats are skittish about it. They worry that the legislation, and Wednesday’s hearing, might be used to undermine the Peace Corps — the legacy of a Democratic president — and cut its funding.

Hey, what’s a little rape, with the added insult of victim blaming, as long as we keep our sweet, sweet funding? You know what I am skittish about, Democrats? Funding an organization wherein women are raped, assaulted and even murdered; 1,000 women have been sexually assaulted while in the Peace Corps in the past decade alone. And 23 Peace Corps volunteers have been murdered since its creation. This isn’t new, either. Peace Corps volunteer Deborah Gardner lost her life in Tonga in 1976.

Deborah Gardner was murdered by fellow Peace Corps worker Dennis Priven, who turned himself in. After stabbing her – 22 times – to death. The Peace Corps reaction? Try to cover it up:

“Even after everyone knew it was Dennis, already that effort by the Peace Corps to put the blame somewhere else. And to make things go away,” says [author Phil] Weiss. “That impulse has seized the Peace Corps within moments of Deb’s death.”

As revolting as that is, they went one further. The Peace Corps hired, and paid for, the best defense attorney available in Tonga. Priven was found not guilty and the Peace Corps quietly shuffled him back to the United States. Where he lived freely, for decades. Working for the government. No, really:

Weiss says Priven has led a small, anonymous life since then. He’s divorced, and he recently retired after working for decades for the U.S. government.

“Twelve years after Deb’s death, he was working for Social Security,” says Weiss. “And ultimately was their top computer guy in the Brooklyn office.

Kate Puzey was 24 years old when she was brutally murdered, her throat slit, while working for the Peace Corps in 2009. Her concerns about a fellow employee were ignored, and then the subject of an attempted cover-up after her death.

Jessica Smochek was gang-raped in Bangladesh in 2004. This is how the Peace Corps gave her aid afterward: not only medical malpractice, but they blamed her. For being gang-raped (emphasis mine):

Peace Corps medical officer refused to give her a proper physical examination. Instead, the medic confiscated the former English teacher’s cellphone so that she could not alert her fellow volunteers and instructed her to tell anyone who asked about her sudden departure from the program that she was returning to the U.S. to get her wisdom teeth out. When Smochek arrived in Washington, D.C., a Peace Corps official asked her to write down everything she had done to provoke the attack.

“Shortly after I left, the country director — who never attempted to contact me after I was raped — called a meeting of several women in my former volunteer group and told them, without my permission, what had happened to me,” she said. “Then, he told them that rape was a woman’s fault and that I had caused what happened to me by being out alone after 5:00 PM. As for the other women in the group, who had been very vocal about being constantly stalked and afraid, he threatened them with administrative separation.”

Jessica was one of the courageous women who testified before Congress on Wednesday. You know, that same Congress that contains members more concerned with loss of funding than actual women and the violent crimes committed against them.

Commentary Magazine asks “where are the feminists?” While the hypocrisy is, as always, staggering, that’s not a question I’d bother asking. Who cares where they are? It’s clear that “feminists,” and Democrats, are not For The Women ™ and they have never been. From their embracing of Obamacare, which harms women, to their frantic scurrying to cover up the exploitation of young girls by Planned Parenthood, it is painfully apparent that the end justifies the means to them. Agendas and “progressive” programs mean all; actual women mean nothing. And, as always, feminist groups do not speak for women, nor should we expect nor want them to. Ever.

The question that should be asked is why the Peace Corps is receiving $400 million in taxpayer funds a year.

Politics Daily points out the original reasoning for the creation of the Peace Corps:

In a 1986 interview, Peace Corps founding director Sargent Shriver, who was hospitalized Monday, described his organization’s raison d’être this way:

When [Gen. Augusto] Pinochet came into power a lot of Peace Corps volunteers were in Chile and they started protesting Pinochet and writing letters to newspapers. I was criticized in Washington for the actions of these volunteers. My response was that we should rejoice that we are the only country in the world that had the vision to send abroad people who are not under government control. Instead, they are independent free-standing human beings. I maintain that they are the greatest advertisement for the American system of government that there is in the world, they are worth a thousand Coca-Cola signs. There is no better advertisement for what this country stands for than an individual Peace Corps volunteer walking down the street unarmed, wearing the same clothes that the people do, eating the same food, living the same life, and being there as an independent free-standing person who believes in democracy and who is compassionate to his fellow man.

Maybe – and I’m not even convinced of this – that was all fine and dandy 40 years ago. Today, not so much. The world isn’t all unicorns and fairy dust. Moreover, this goodwill ambassadorship stuff doesn’t work, right? Doesn’t the world’s view of Americans change based on whether there is a Republican or a Democrat in the White House? I mean, that’s what we are told, over and over. The world hated us merely because, Bush. For years. And now they totally heart us again because, The One, right?

The world is a dangerous place sometimes. And sending women to places that are known dangers without adequate, or even mediocre for cripes sake, support is beyond irresponsible. Especially if the organization itself is complicit in the violence perpetrated against the women who volunteer for them. And, in fact, exacerbates the harm to the women by not only attempting to hide the crimes, but by blaming the victims. Taxpayer money should in no way be used to support violence against women, nor the revolting covering up of the same.

Peace Corps volunteers tell of rape‚ assault during their service

A member recounts ´toughest moment´ in Nepal

Former volunteers spoke out on Wednesday about widespread sexual assaults they suffered while serving at the Peace Corps, and how the storied US aid agency had mishandled their complaints for decades.

Carol Clark said she faced ‘the toughest moment of my life’ after a Peace Corps programme director raped her in Nepal in 1985 and left her pregnant.

(A 1984-1985 handout photo of Peace Corps survivor Carol Clark (left) with children in Nepal. Clark was a victim of rape and assault when she served in rural Nepal.)

Caught between her devoutly Christian parents’ rejection and the Peace Corps’ demand that she ‘choose immediately whether to terminate my pregnancy or terminate my service’, Clark panicked. “I was a survivor in extreme trauma right then. I would not have survived mentally or physically if that pregnancy had

continued,” she told AFP in explaining her decision to have an abortion despite her pro-life ideals. “It was a lack of knowledge and a lack of someone saying, ‘here are your options.’”

Adding insult to injury, she was assaulted again upon returning to Nepal after the abortion,

this time by a government employee who raped and beat her repeatedly for 15 hours. “For a long time, I prayed to live. And after that, I prayed to die,” she told lawmakers.

Her case is part of a growing number of former volunteers now opening up about their ordeals for the first time, sometimes decades later, triggering promises of legislation from lawmakers and of change within a Peace Corps at a crossroads half a century after it was founded by president John F Kennedy.

Others spoke about how an agency where 60 per cent of the staff are women made them feel responsible for getting raped.

Catherine Puzey said she lives ‘a heartbreak everyday’ from the loss of her daughter Kate, who she said was murdered on her porch two years ago by a teacher at a school where she taught English in a remote village of rural Benin. Kate had tried weeks earlier to warn the Peace Corps about the Beninese man, Constant Bio, who also worked for the agency during the summers and was already accused of sexually assaulting his students.

She emailed her boss but her complaint fell into the hands of the accused killer’s brother, a deputy Peace Corps country chief. The 24-year-old was found with her throat slit just days later.

After hearing emotional testimony in Congress from the former female volunteers, the agency’s director Aaron Williams vowed to end a policy of ‘blaming the victim’. “There is no doubt that what these courageous women have done has opened our eyes to what we need to correct and we need to correct it now,” he told the House Foreign Affairs Committee. “Rest assured, this type of thing, blaming the victim, will not continue in the Peace Corps of today.”

He outlined several reforms, including staff advising and advocating for victims, supporting volunteers after they leave the agency, updating volunteer and staff training and replacing

a training tape that showed past sexual assault victims discussing their alleged missteps that led to the attacks.

The hearing was prompted by increased media coverage of the assaults, including segments on the women that ran in January on the ABC television programs 20/20 and Good Morning America. About 200,000 people have volunteered for the agency in 139 countries in some of the most distant corners of the globe since 1961.
