I'm loving the Pre-Game Subpoena Show in Washington, D.C.!

Time for a spanking reich wingers! Woohoo! Oh my, the House Oversight & Government Reform Committee was very, very busy today.
Monica Goodling, who was a member of Alberto Gonzales’ Justice Department until she resigned a few weeks ago, was granted immunity today, will be subpoenaed, and will have to testify under oath now. Woohoo! That is great news because Ms. Monica tried to weasel out of testifying about the US Attorney firings by invoking her 5th Amendment right and now she’ll have to tell the truth. If she’s caught lying under oath, she will face considerable jail time for perjury. Witnessing what I have so far with her, guaranteed she will end up lying at some point. I can’t wait to hear what she has to say and I’m hoping she implicates Karl Rove in all of this.



Not only will Goodling have to testify, but Condi Rice will also get a subpoena. Her testimony will be about what she knew about the linking of Saddam and yellowcake uranium in Niger, which was originally claimed to be true by Bush & Cheney, but in hindsight it’s now known that all of it was a pack of lies.

And then there is the RNC server. It too will get a subpoena! Well, okay, not the server itself, but the Republican National Committee will be receiving one at some point, so the Committee can obtain the “missing emails” and “missing documents” that the White House & the RNC claim have vanished. I still think the criminals have encased the hard drives in cement and these hard drives are at the bottom of a lake or were dropped out in the middle of the ocean a long time ago. I can’t wait to see what happens and what the Committee finds out. Let’s hope this information has not been destroyed! It was pointed out on Air America Radio today that Nixon had the backing of the republicans when the Watergate Scandal broke, and it wasn’t until the tapes were released of Nixon admitting his involvement that the republicans turned on him very quickly.

Woohoo! Let’s have another “I’m not a crook” week again. I’m all for that.

Watching Attorney General Alberto Gonzales lying and deceiving the American people under oath was a sad day for the American people. It’s disgusting that America’s ‘top cop’ did that, so it makes you wonder to yourself…if he’s willing to lie and to deceive to cover for Karl Rove and the rest of the White House what else is going on? Something tells me I don’t want to know! One thing I do know is obstruction of justice is a republican value. Sick.

WASHINGTON - President Bush’s lawyers told the Republican National Committee on Tuesday not to turn over to Congress any e-mails related to the firings last year of eight U.S. attorneys before showing them to the White House.Democrats and Republican critics of the administration said the move suggests that the White House is seeking to develop a strategy to block the release of the non-government e-mails to congressional investigators by arguing that they’re covered by executive privilege and not subject to review.

Stanzel, deputy White House press secretary, called the action “reasonable” and said that any review of the e-mails would “be conducted in a timely fashion, to balance the committee’s need for the information with the extreme over breadth of their requests.” Party officials declined comment, but a GOP aide familiar with the negotiations said the RNC would comply with the White House request.

In a related development, the House Judiciary Committee plans to grant immunity to a former Justice Department liaison to the White House to force her to tell Congress what she knew about the firings. A vote to grant Monica Goodling “use immunity” could come as early as Thursday. Goodling had refused to testify and said she would invoke the Fifth Amendment against self-incrimination.

Judiciary Chairman John Conyers, D-Mich., who’d asked the RNC to turn over any applicable e-mails by week’s end, characterized the White House’s stance as an “extreme and unnecessary” effort to block or slow the release of the e-mails.

Bruce Fein, a former Reagan administration Justice Department official who’s been critical of the administration and Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, said the existence of the RNC e-mails is worrisome for the White House.

“The situation is very awkward for the administration because they don’t know exactly what e-mails are there. What does seem very clear is that the e-mails did concern government business, which would include firing U.S. attorneys. Otherwise there would be no plausible claim,” he said.

This could be why Alberto Gonzales was able to lie his ass off under oath…because there is no proof out there and that’s because the Republican National Committee along with the White House has been eagerly getting rid of this evidence!

Oh, but the reich wing control freaks can’t stop there! They have to control everything so the American people will not know the true scope of their criminal activity. These reich wing republicans have been actively trying to find a way to get rid of the Internet, because they know the American people have been dissenting against them for years now!

All fascist dictatorships will do anything to keep their citizens in line with their own whacked ideologies…

Hey, if they’re willing to ‘lose’ 5 million emails to protect their criminal activity or to use the Republican National Committee email server to keep themselves from being subpoenaed and to cover up what they’re doing, then one could easily surmise they would want to control the Internet too!

It’s sick and disgusting and the republicans who have been in government for the past seven years are an abomination to our nation and it’s people. We’re like communist China now thanks to them!

I want my country back and returned to me the way it was prior to the 2000 election!!! This is why Americans need to work hard to get more democrats in office starting with 2008.
